Refunds and cancellations

This policy applies to paid consultations with Kingsford Money Guidance, including Personal Financial Reviews and related sessions described on this site. It does not cover products or delivery models we do not offer.

Eligibility

Refunds relate to fees paid for consulting sessions and deposits. Website reading and free guides are not purchasable items and carry no refund.

Cancellation timeframe

Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the confirmed meeting start time for a full refund of fees paid for that session, including the deposit.

Full and partial refunds

Cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 48 hours receive a partial refund of 50% of the session fee; the deposit portion may be retained to cover preparation already completed. If we cancel for our own reasons, you receive a full refund or a free rebooking at your choice.

Non-refundable items

Once a consultation has started, fees for that session are non-refundable. Optional follow-up sessions already delivered are non-refundable. Third-party costs you incur separately (for example travel to Kubington) are not reimbursed by us.

Work already started

If we have reviewed documents you uploaded before the meeting and you cancel inside 48 hours, we may retain the deposit as payment for preparation time already spent.

Deposits

A 30% deposit holds your diary slot. It is applied to the session fee or refunded according to the cancellation rules above.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice. Further reschedules may incur a £40 administration fee.

No-shows

If you do not attend and do not notify us, the full session fee is due and deposits are not refunded. We may offer a reduced-rate rebooking at our discretion.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@apiscaletech.digital with your name, meeting date, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days to the original payment method (card or bank transfer).
