Bright consulting office with large windows and a quiet meeting table

First meeting

How the first consultation actually runs

Tied to our flagship Personal Financial Review—and the same rhythm for related sessions.

People often arrive expecting a sales conversation dressed as advice. Our first meeting is closer to a structured inventory: we read what you bring, ask clarifying questions, and write down priorities you can verify later.

Before you arrive

You receive a short questionnaire covering income sources, housing costs, debts, pensions, and dependents. We also send a document checklist—bank statements for three months, latest pension annual statements, and loan balances. Incomplete paperwork is fine; we note gaps rather than cancelling.

In the room (or on video)

The first fifteen minutes confirm the agenda and any topics that are off-limits. The middle stretch walks through cash flow and liabilities. The closing twenty minutes agree three to five next steps and whether a follow-up consultation is useful.

Afterwards

Within five working days you receive written notes. There is no automated upsell sequence. If regulated investment advice is required for a decision you named, we say so and discuss referral paths.

Typical timeline

  1. Enquiry and fee confirmation within two working days.
  2. Questionnaire and document list sent once the diary slot is held with a deposit.
  3. 90-minute consultation by video or at 14318 Quincy Cape, Kubington.
  4. Written priority list delivered within five working days.
